Yusen Air & Sea Service (Philippines) Inc. (President: Mitsugu Taguchi) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new head office building to which the company moved in March 2010.
YAS (Philippines) was founded in 1992 as the first Japanese forwarder in the Philippines, and marks its 19th year in business this year. Having become well established in the Philippines, the company today has more than 200 employees and nine offices nationwide, including the Manila Head Office, and has become the central corporation in the YAS Group’s South Asia & Oceania region.
The ceremony was attended by Shunichi Yano, the president of YAS and Mr. Dan C. Florentino, COO of joint partner Transnational Diversified Group, and they celebrated the start of operations at the new office. The new office is conveniently located near Manila International Airport on a wide tract of land, and employees are even more motivated now to improve services further.
With production rising in response to an increase in demand for digital devices, transportation of electronic parts is active in the Philippines today. YAS (Philippines) will continue make every effort to expand sales and improve service quality.
